Before Your First Class

You don’t need much for yoga, but there are a few things you should know before you come to class.

Clothing:
It is best to wear comfortable clothing in which you can move freely. Stretchy workout clothes are great, or a t-shirt and shorts or sweatpants.
Yoga is practiced in bare feet.

Yoga mats:
If you have your own yoga mat, bring it along. Otherwise, feel free to use one of ours. Our mats are biodegradable, non-toxic, hypo-allergenic & latex free.

Health & Safety:
Before your first class, you will be asked to sign a waiver of liability. We recommend you arrive a few minutes early to complete your registration.  Please be sure to let your instructor know of any illnesses, injuries or conditions

Eating:
You may want to avoid eating a large meal before coming to class as twisting and bending can be uncomfortable with a full stomach.
